This article provides instructions for resolving connectivity issues with Biola-NetID. If you're unable to connect to the Biola wireless network, follow these steps to diagnose and fix the problem.

 

Instructions

  1. On your cell phone, visit this page and click "Report a Problem" to create a new ticket with IT.
  2. Take note of the location where you are trying to connect to the Biola wireless network.
  3. Take note of the last time you were able to connect to and use the Biola wireless network at that location.
  4. Take note if you've had any trouble connecting to other networks outside of Biola recently.
  5. Note if any other devices in your area encounter the same issue under the same circumstances (e.g., a second device or a roommate's/coworker's computer/phone).
  6. Restart your device, and note it in the ticket.
  7. Reset the network configuration on your device by following these steps and note it in the ticket:
  8. Take a screenshot of your MAC/Hardware address by following these instructions and attach it to the ticket.
  9. If you continue to experience issues, please bring your device to the IT Service Desk in the Library for further assistance.
