Purpose
This page explains the steps for resetting your NetID password.
Note: Biola uses a single sign-on system for all Biola's services (Biola NetID, email, Canvas, ect). Resetting your NetID password will also reset your Biola email password, Canvas password, and so forth, because they share the same password.
Instructions
Method 1 (Recommended)
- Follow the steps here: Recover your Biola account passwords with Azure Self-Service Password Reset
- ! Note: If the system doesn't recognize the email address you entered, please contact one of the following Biola departments and let them know you'd like to reset your password but your non-Biola email address is not recognized.
- If you were successfully able to log in then your password has successfully updated. If you encounter any errors, please call the IT Helpdesk at 562.903.4740 or email us at it.helpdesk@biola.edu.
Method 2
- Go to myaccount.biola.edu.
- Click on Forgot your NetID or password?
- Type in your personal email address (non-Biola email) and click the Go >> button.
- ! Note: If the system doesn't recognize the email address you entered, please contact one of the following Biola departments and let them know you'd like to reset your password but your non-Biola email address is not recognized.
- Log in to your personal email address and open the password reset link email we sent to you labelled Reset your Biola University account password.
- Click the Reset my account password! link listed in the email.
- Type a new password into the Passphrase text box.
- Type the new password again in the Confirm Passphrase textbox.
- Click the Save button.
- ! Note: You will be redirected to MyAccount.biola.edu to confirm your password has successfully updated.
- Type in your NetID and the newly created password and click the Log in button.
- If you were successfully able to log in then your password has successfully updated. If you encounter any errors, please call the IT Helpdesk at 562.903.4740 or email us at it.helpdesk@biola.edu.
