How to Transfer your Biola YouTube Content to a Personal Account

1. Go to youtube.com and sign into your Biola Account.

2. Visit your YouTube Accounts page by clicking your account icon on the top-right corner and clicking settings.

3. Click the Create a New Channel button.

4. Enter the name you would like the channel to be called.

5. Check the box next to "I understand that I am creating a new Google Account with its own settings, including YouTube search and watch history.

6. Click the Create button.

7. If prompted, verify your account using your phone.

1. While signed in to your Biola Google account on YouTube, click on your icon at the top-right corner.

2. Click on Switch Account, and click on your non-brand channel (the channel you want to transfer.

3. Once switched, go to your YouTube Accounts Advanced Settings by clicking your account icon on the top-right corner and clicking Settings > Advanced settings.

4. Click Move channel to a brand account.

5. Under Choose an account to move this channel to, locate your brand account and click Replace.

6. Check the I understand and wish to proceed box and click Delete Channel.

7. Click Move Channel.

1. Click on your icon at the top-right corner.

2. Click on Switch Account.

3. Click on your brand channel.

4. Go to the YouTube Accounts page on your brand channel by clicking your account icon on the top-right corner and clicking Settings.

5. Click Add or remove manager(s).

6. Click the blue Manage Permissions button under Users.

7. Verify your identity if requested, and re-click the blue Manage Permissions button.

8. Click the button on the top right that when hovered over says Invite new users.

9. Enter your personal email address and set the role to Owner.

10. Click Invite, and then click Done.

11. Log into your personal Google account on gmail.com and find the invite from google-my-business-noreply@google.com.

12. Open the email and click Accept Invitation.

13. Once redirected to a new page, click Accept.

At this point, your personal account has become an Owner of your Biola YouTube channel. However, the Primary Owner of the account is still your Biola account, and an account must have the Owner status for at least 7 days before it can become the Primary Owner.

5. Go to the YouTube Accounts page on your brand channel.

6. Click Add or remove manager(s).

7. Click the blue Manage Permissions button under Users.

8. Next to the name of your personal account, set the role from Owner to Primary Owner.

9. Click Transfer.

10. Next to the name of your Biola account, click the X on the right that when hovered over says Remove.

11. Click Remove.
