Question: I'm getting a new phone, what should I do to prepare?
I am getting/have gotten a new phone. Is there anything related to Biola that I should do to prepare to start using my new phone?
Don't Have Your Old Phone?
Send an email to it.helpdesk@biola.edu from your Biola email account letting us know that you got a new phone and that your Microsoft Authenticator App and/or Digital ID isn't working - we'll help you get everything re-set. If you don't have access to your Biola email account, email us from your personal email account on file and we'll verify your identity, then help re-set everything for you.

Before deactivating your old phone:
- Switch your Microsoft MultiFactor Authentication method to text:
- Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info in a browser and sign in with your Biola account.
- Click the button for Add a Sign-in Method and add phone with text as a MFA method, following the prompts on the screen.
- Remove your Biola digital ID and eAccounts app from the old phone
- In your old phone's wallet app, remove your Biola digital ID.
- Open the Transact eAccounts app on your old phone, then...
- Tap the gear icon in the top right-hand corner, then tap the Sign Out button.
! Note: If you miss this step, contact the IT Service desk by filling out this form: Report a Problem. Fill out the form with as many details as possible.
