This page explains how to sign in to myaccount.biola.edu for the first time.

Prerequisites: 

  • When you become a Biolan (e.g., new student, faculty, staff, or volunteer), you will receive an email to your personal email address, including your primary Biola user name (which is also your email address), and temporary password. The email also includes a link to myaccount.biola.edu, where you can sign in for the first time. You will set up your MFA, account recovery information, and a permanent password during your first sign-in. 
  • PLEASE NOTE, after signing in to MyAccount, you will be provided with:
    • Your secondary user name, called a NetID. You will use your NetID to sign in to Biola systems that ask for it instead of your email address.
    • Instructions on how to sign in to your Biola email for the first time.
 

Instructions

First-time Log In Steps

  1. Navigate to myaccount.biola.edu
  2. Enter your user name (Biola email address) when promptedClick Next.
  3. Enter the temporary password provided in your first-time login invitation email. Click Next.
  4. Proceed with setting up your multifactor authentication (MFA) and account recovery method by following these step-by-step instructions. By default, you will be asked to install the Microsoft Authenticator app. This app is very secure and is recommended. However, you can click the choose another option link to set up a different MFA and account recovery method.
  5. Once you've set up your preferred MFA, you will be prompted to re-enter it every 60 days to verify your identity.
