How to Register Your Device on Biola's Network

Some wireless devices may need to be registered in order to connect to or function properly on Biola's wireless network (e.g. devices that do not support WPA3-Enterprise security). These devices must be registered with IT on https://mydevices.biola.edu and be connected to the Biola-Guest wireless network.

• Note: The My Devices portal is only accessible while connected to the Biola network via Biola-NetID, Biola-Guest, or wired Ethernet.
• Note: Please ignore the status field in mydevices.biola.edu. There is a bug in the software that causes all registered devices to continually show as "pending." If you receive the "pending" status your device has been successfully registered.

Please have the following information ready when registering your wireless device with Information Technology.

• A Device Name (A unique name to identify your device from any others you may have now or in the future.) 
  • Note: Do NOT include punctuation or special characters in your device name. This will cause an error during submission.
• The device's MAC Address (The MAC or Hardware address is the unique identifier of your wireless adapter and looks like something this: 0A-B1-02-C3-04-D5, 00:01:02:03:04:05, etc.)
• A Device Description (A short description of the device: TV, Game Console, etc.)
