Make a Payment as an Authorized User

Purpose

This document will explain step by step how a student can set up an Authorized User in order for them to make a payment to student's account.

Instructions

Students - Adding an Authorized User

  1. Log in to your Biola Student Portal
  2. Select "Student Accounts" from the left side menu
  3. Click on "ACCESS YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT"
  4. On the following page, select "Bank/Card Payment - this will redirect you to PayMyTuition
    •  !  Note: Student's will also be able make a payment on their own here
  5. Select "Create Profile" and click on "Registration Details" at the bottom
  6. Once you create an account, you will be able to add an authorized user to your account
    • An automated message will be sent to the authorized user to create their account

 

Parents

 !  Note: The parent should never be logging in with the student's information. A parent should not need to be logging in to an account requiring Microsoft Authentication.

 !  Note: If the parent is listed as an authorized user and is unable to log in, the student must then remove the user and re-add the user. In that case the user will receive new instructions to their email.

  1. Once your PayMyTuition account is created, you will be able to log in to https://payment.paymytuition.com/login
  2. Currently, authorized users will not be able to set up or initiate a payment plan
