How To Use The Hoffman Conference Room

Introduction
The Hoffman Conference Room, or HR Large Conference Room, is the room situated in upper Metzger between the HR Offices and the President's WIng. This hyflex space allows the users to perform meetings in person or hybrid with our latest equipment.
Instructions
How to Use for In-Person Meetings
- Locate the QSC Touch Panel.
- Find the USB-C cable in the center of the back table.
- Plug in the USB-C directly into the laptop.
- Tap anywhere on the touch panel to turn on and ensure that Laptop HDMI is selected and a small green light is lit on the bottom left hand corner.

How to Use for Hybrid Meetings
- Follow Steps 1-4 from "How to Use for In-Person Meetings."
- Log into the zoom or google meets meeting on your laptop.
- Once in, locate the settings on the appropriate application and ensure that UT-VID camera is selected for the camera and NV-32-H or USB is selected for speaker and microphone.
- Locate the touch panel and select the conferencing tab on the bottom middle.
- Ensure that the camera controls are set to tracking or wide view and ensure that the mic is unmuted on the audio controls.

How to Connect Audio to the Room
- To connect the audio from your laptop to the system, ensure that the USB-C cable is plugged into your laptop.
- Locate the audio output in the settings of your laptop. (Top right hand corner for Mac and Bottom Right hand corner for Windows)
- Ensure that the NV-32-H is selected for the sound output.
- Locate the touch panel and ensure that the volume slider is up and the audio mute is deselected on the right hand side of the touch panel.
